Dr. Michelle Salga, affectionately called “Dr. Mishka ‘’ is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor certified in Bio-identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT). She has a special interest in correcting hormone imbalances and works with a team of medical doctors and nurse practitioners to give her patients optimal care. Hormonal concerns such as menopause, thyroid imbalances, acne, polycystic ovarian syndrome, infertility, low testosterone in men, low libido, fibromyalgia, hot flashes, chronic fatigue, post partum hormonal deficiencies and menstrual disorders are simply a few common health concerns that are treated successfully with Bio Identical Hormone Therapy (BHRT), dietary changes and herbal medicine. She is also certified in cosmetic rejuvenation acupuncture. This technique helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles as well as improving the firmness of the skin. Dr. Salga treats health concerns of all kinds and patients of all ages. She has had much success in treating digestive disturbances such as Crohn’s disease, IBS, heartburn and constipation. She also treats skin issues such as acne, rosacea, eczema and psoriasis. In addition, common concerns such as depression/anxiety, low energy and insomnia are among those conditions treated. Helping her patients achieve their weight loss goals is also a big passion of Dr. Salga’s. Achieving weight loss not only brings confidence to one’s life but is often the root cause of most illnesses and hormonal imbalances. Being a naturopathic doctor, she uses natural treatments such as clinical nutrition, herbs, homeopathy, acupuncture and supplementation to correct the health problem and possible nutritional deficiencies. Lab tests are commonly ordered to confirm the diagnosis and to dictate the treatment according to the patient’s individual results. Thereby, uncomfortable symptoms improve faster and the worsening of the health disorder is prevented.

Dr. Salga investigates why the health problem is occurring and how it can be fixed by the most gentle means possible. The aim is to reverse the health disorder before it may lead to something more serious.

Dr. Michelle understands that the health care system has its limitations. She is happy to work collaboratively with your medical doctor, specialist or health care team to provide you with complete care to ensure that you are able to communicate your concerns, be heard and find solutions quickly and naturally to your health concerns. Dr. Salga is a very personable doctor who is passionate about patient care and who enjoys listening to her patients. She is an experienced naturopathic doctor with over 10 years of practice under her license. She finds it very rewarding to help her patients lead the healthy life that they want in order to allow them to live the BEST life they can live today, right now and for the benefit of their future selves.
